InVisible Media in STEAM International Conference
Çağ University
Call for Papers
As an innovative approach, STEAM accommodates all school subjects together in a visible manner into K-12 education. Media which surrounds us in many forms of our life in today’s world, however, has not been clearly and explicitly articulated. It seems, therefore, essential to make Media visible into STEAM in K-12 education while educating the 21st-century learners for the global challenges in facing the future awaiting them.
We organize this conference to develop a shared platform for scholars, researchers, educators, teachers, and policy makers at all stages of their careers with the aim of discussing possible ways for media insertion in STEAM lessons focusing on the global challenges of the 21st –century. We are particularly interested in the following topics:
- Media Education
- STEM/STEAM education
- Critical media / Critical media literacy
- Current trends in media Media and learning
- Communication and media education
- Methodology of educational research
