Media which surrounds us in many forms of our life in today\u2019s world, however, has not been clearly and explicitly articulated. It seems, therefore, essential to make <em>Media<\/em> visible into STEAM in K-12 education while educating the 21st-century learners for the global challenges in facing the future awaiting them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We organize this conference to develop a shared platform for scholars,\nresearchers, educators, teachers, and policy makers at all stages of their\ncareers with the aim of discussing possible ways for media insertion in STEAM\nlessons focusing on the global challenges of the 21<sup>st <\/sup>\u2013century. We\nare particularly interested in the following topics: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<ul><li>Media Education <\/li><li>STEM\/STEAM education  <\/li><li>Critical media \/ Critical media literacy <\/li><li>Current trends in media Media and learning<\/li><li>Communication and media education<\/li><li>Methodology of educational research <\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Presentation Types<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants are\ninvited to submit abstracts of <em>completed studies<\/em>, <em>ongoing studies<\/em>,\nor <em>posters<\/em> to the conference team.
