Where the conference takes place
All sessions of NEXUS 2026 — keynotes, parallel presentations and workshops — will be held in the Şakir Paşa Medrese Building on the Mustafapaşa Campus of Cappadocia University.
Built in 1899 by Mehmet Şakir Paşa and celebrated for the stonework of its monumental portal, the medrese has served the town in many roles over the past century. Since 2005 it has been an academic building of Cappadocia University. It stands in the centre of Mustafapaşa (historic Sinasos), directly opposite the Cami-i Kebir, within walking distance of the village square and of most of the hotels listed on our accommodation page.
Registration and the welcome desk will be located at the entrance of the building. Detailed room allocations will be published together with the final programme.
Getting there
Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV)
The closest airport to the venue, with domestic connections from Istanbul and Ankara. Around 1 hour by road.
Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR)
The larger of the two regional airports, with more frequent domestic flights. Around 1 hour 15 minutes by road.
Ürgüp town centre
Mustafapaşa is a short drive from Ürgüp. Local minibuses (dolmuş) and taxis run between the two throughout the day.
